Fenty beauty lipstick review “S1ngle” and “Freckle fiesta”

Heyyy,

IMG_4565.JPG

I have recently bought 2 mattemoiselle push matte lipsticks  from Fenty beauty. I love the brand so much, and I would love to try more. I have a killawait highlighter from the brand as well, which I adore.

The packaging is an amazing reflective metallic and the shape of it looks so cool. It does not look like an ordinary lipstick, which I like. Love the packaging, even though they are really hard to get good photos of because of the reflectiveness and you get fingerprints on very easily aha.

Shades from left to right – “Freckle fiesta”, “S1ingle”

I bought two shades. The first; “freckle fiesta” – which is described as spiced terra-cotta. On me, it is a warm reddish brown (I just found these random photos of me wearing the shades hehe).

The other colour I have is “S1ngle” – described as a blushing nude. It is a darker nude with an orange undertone on me.

How long does it last?
I have not quite put a timer on how long they last, but they stick on for a good while. They do not last a whole day on me, barely any lipsticks does that, but they last quite well. I would say, I have lipsticks that lasts longer, but I definitely have lipsticks that does not. When I wear these it tends to rub a bit off on the inner parts of my lips when I eat, so I am left with a weird outline of my lips- this is the only issue I have with this lipstick.

How is the pigment?
Incredible. Honestly, for such a smooth formula, you would not think it would be so pigmented, but you only need one swipe of this and your lipsticks looks amazing.

How does it apply?
One of my favourite things about these lipsticks, is how beautifully they apply. They are so smooth and creamy, it does not feel like a matte lipstick at all! Probably my favourite matte lipstick formula to apply on the lips, they just glide on! The applicator is small and a bit different compared to other lipsticks, but I really, really like it.

Would I recommend this product?
Yes, yes, yes. I love the formular and pigmentation so much. I need to get my hands on more shades – maybe I should be brave and buy the dark blue one, it looks so cool! It is not the cheapest lipstick, but it is so worth it, compared to what you get for the money. The packaging looks absolutely beautiful as well. As I said, the only tiny issue I have with this, is that it rubs off after a while, but just be sure that you have it in your bag and you will be fine :)) Let me know what you think of these if you have tried them, or if you have not, which shades would you like to try?

Thank you for reading – enjoy the nice weather (or however the weather is where you live aha)!
Lots of love,

Review – Becca Après Ski Glow Face Palette

Hey everybody,

long time no see, but new year new me ;))
eyyy that rimed, I should be writing poems or something like that lol… I don’t want to be talking further about why I haven’t blogged, but all I can say is that I’ve missed it lots, so here I am again..

I am going to be reviewing a beaaaaaautiful facepalette from becca. It is from their holiday collection, but I bought it yesterday on 70% sale, such a bargain! It cost me 133DKK and was reduced from 445 DKK!

Firstly I want to talk about the beautiful, icey, metallic packaging.

This is the most gorgeous palettes I have ever seen, the packaging is silver and it is almost like a mirror. It has Becca written in the center with an ice-blue colour as well as some drawings around it. One word; STUN-NING!

IMG_4645

Inside it, it has a huge mirror which is always great to have in a palette, and of course the most exciting part, the actual product. This becca palette contains 6 products, both limited edition and some of becca’s best-selling products. It has 3 highlighters, 2 blushes and one bronzer. The consistency is very soft and the formular is great and buildable. I am really surprised with this palette, of how pigmented and easy to blend the powders are, but also how freaking blinding the highlighters are – I loooove a good blinding highlighter!!

IMG_4651.JPG

From left to right: bronzed bondi (bronzer), winter berry (blush), opal (highlighter), icicle (highlighter), blushed copper (blush), rose quartz (highlighter)

It’s not very often I find a palette (especially a face palette) where I would want to use every colour, but this is almost it. Let’s start with the bronzer. I was a bit skeptical about it at first, cause it has shimmer in it and it is a bit dark for my skin type, but I am pleasantly surprised. I wore it today (photo further down) and I really liked it, be careful because it is VERY pigmented, but if you apply it with a light hand, it looks nice + you can’t see the shimmer in it, which is a plus for me.

The highlighters are super beautiful and buildable. Opal is a golden colour, which is great for a lot of skintones (my friend with a little darker skin than me used it, and I swear it looked bomb!). The colour icicle is great if you love being a bit extra (who doesn’t haaa) and is a more white highlighter. Lastly, rose quartz, which has a pinky undertone and is really wearable.

I am not the biggest blush fan and I like my blushes to almost not be seen and should only add a tiny bit of healthy look to your face. These blushes are a little too pigmented for my taste, but I can make them work. Else, I think blushed copper would be the perfect coppery eyeshadow and/or great for people with darker skintone.

Wearing opal, bronzed bondi and winter berry.

This palette is a great buy and I would so recommend it for anyone who a) love makeup or b) who is new to makeup and wants a palette where you get everthing you need for blush, bronzer and especially highlighter.

Thank you for reading, I hope you all have had an amazing start on 2018 so far.

Hugs,

Products that needs more hype!

Hello lovelies!

First of all, sorry that I haven’t posted loads recently, I’ve been on holiday. In fact, I’m still here. The problem is I forgot my laptop, so I didn’t think I could write. Now I’m on my phone, I just have to figure out how to use this app properly. Okay anyways, today I’m writing this (obvs!?). I’ve been thinking about doing this new series called ‘producers that needs more hype’, and as the name gives it self, it’s a series where I show you my favourite products that I haven’t heard people talk about/talked enough about.

We’re starting this of with one of my all time favourite products – the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette!! What can I say, this palette is simpley gorgeous. It has all shades you need for a warm eyemakeup-look, cranberry colours, with both mattes and shimmers. This blends beautifuly, it’s so pigmented as well as not being that expensive. I bought it on Beautybay, and I’ve never been happier with an order!

I know you might be thinking, ‘why the hell is she including a Mac lipstick in this’, and that my friend I can explain. Yes, I know Mac lipsticks are so hyped, in fact, I think they’re the most hyped lipsticks ever (woooa). But, but, but I’ve never heard anyone talking about this exact lipstick. It’s a matte finish and it’s called ‘Mehr’. It’s such a gorgeous berry colour. It’s a little bit dark (at least on me and I’m pale as a ghost, so maybe that says something!?). You could use this for a going out lipstick with a dark smokey eye or you could use it on a daily basis. Also Mac’s lipsticks are so comfortable and beautiful on the lips, even the matte one’s.

This is actually quite a new product for me. I bought it maybe a month ago, but I’m already loving it. It’s a product from Nyx (one of my fave brands) – HD finishing powder. I love everything I’ve tried from Nyx’s HD studio line, so when I saw this I was so happy! It’s a transparent mineral powder and it works wonders. This is a powder I would use both without or with foundation on. This just makes you look photoshopped. I hugely recommend this product!

I actually had some more products that I wanted to talk about, but let me know if you want me to do another blogpost like this, as I feel like this blogpost is already too long and my fingers are starting to cramp (god I miss my laptop!!).

Thanks again so much for reading. Even though there’s not many of you, I really appriciate it. I haven’t had this blog in a long time, so let’s see where this takes me.

Lots of love,

Anne xx

Rimmel lipsticks review

Hey everyone!

Recently, I bought some Rimmel lipsticks – and now it just occurred to me that I have a  lipstick from every Rimmel lipstick collection. So I thought, why not do reviews on these lipsticks?! Okay then, Let’s get started… As you will probably see, I mostly have nude lipsticks.

Kate Moss lipsticks

I have 3 of these lipsticks, and i absolutely love them all! They’re so comfortable to wear and they are in some really nice shades (and how cute is it, that the ones I have, have different packagings!?). They are a creamy formular, but they don’t smudge and slide everywhere. One thing though is, that they don’t last forever. If you’re going out, I would recommend to keep this in your bag to touch up, but for me it isn’t a problem. I have the shades 42, 107 and 38.

IMG_4062

Top to bottom  – 38, 107, 42

38 is one of my favourite lipsticks ever, if I don’t know what lipstick I should wear, I always grab this. This is just such a gorgeous nude/peachy colour and perfect for everyday wear!

107 – this is a berry/deep red colour. This is honestly a little bit out of my comfort zone, but for autumn I will force myself to wear it, cause it’s the most stunning colour. I’m pretty sure everyone reading this, have heard about this before, and if you haven’t; where have you been!?! ahah.

42 is the perfect nude for me, It’s not a ‘are you wearing foundation on your lips’ kinda nude, but it’s more of a pretty darker nude colour on me. LOVE THIS!

The only 1 matte lipsticks

I have 1 lipstick from this collection, so I don’t know if this review suits all of the lipsticks in this collection. But it probably does because it’s the same formular, I just won’t promise anything 😉

So, this lipstick is a matte lipstick, and matte lipsticks are the love of my life – if they’re not too drying! And this matte lipstick is the most non-drying (what) matte lipstick that I own, but it does still look matte on the lips. So comfortable to wear as well, long lasting and it has a velvet/matte finish. I’d love to try more of these.

IMG_4078

Colour – 200 salute

If any of my friends saw this colour, they would describe it as a ‘me colour’. This is just a colour made in heaven for me. Nude/pink matte = best colour ever. Do I need to say more? + the name reminds me of little mix, which is a huuuuge plus lol.

Moisture renew sheer & shine lipsticks

Hell yeah – the packaging is pink *goes and buys all of these and doesn’t care if they’re good or not*. I mean, that would’ve been me if I had any money.

Okay, the lipstick. As I’ve said I’m more of a matte lipstick lover, but I still like glossy lips sometimes. I wouldn’t call this lipstick formular sheer, because it’s definitely not. It’s not a tinted lip balm sheer at least. It’s really glossy and really comfortable on the lips (I’ve said that about all of the lipsticks, but Rimmel lipsticks are just so amazing and moisturizing!). I feel like this lipstick slides a little bit around on my lips, but maybe it’s because I’m used to wearing matte lipsticks. I think if you love glossy lips and have really dry lips, this lipstick would be perfect for you.

IMG_4085

300 – pink rules

This colour is such a fun bright pink colour. I don’t know when I’ll wear this colour, because for me it’s not the most wearable colour in the world, but I do like it. It would be super cool for the summer time.

So over all, Rimmel lipsticks are amazing and  affordable, and if you’re a beginner with makeup or you just want to make your makeup collection bigger (me), then Rimmel lipsticks (or just Rimmel in general) are so good. I highly recommend their lipsticks!

Thank you so much for reading this, and high-five if you’ve come this far.

Lots of love,
Anne x
