Fenty beauty lipstick review “S1ngle” and “Freckle fiesta”

Heyyy,

IMG_4565.JPG

I have recently bought 2 mattemoiselle push matte lipsticks  from Fenty beauty. I love the brand so much, and I would love to try more. I have a killawait highlighter from the brand as well, which I adore.

The packaging is an amazing reflective metallic and the shape of it looks so cool. It does not look like an ordinary lipstick, which I like. Love the packaging, even though they are really hard to get good photos of because of the reflectiveness and you get fingerprints on very easily aha.

Shades from left to right – “Freckle fiesta”, “S1ingle”

I bought two shades. The first; “freckle fiesta” – which is described as spiced terra-cotta. On me, it is a warm reddish brown (I just found these random photos of me wearing the shades hehe).

The other colour I have is “S1ngle” – described as a blushing nude. It is a darker nude with an orange undertone on me.

How long does it last?
I have not quite put a timer on how long they last, but they stick on for a good while. They do not last a whole day on me, barely any lipsticks does that, but they last quite well. I would say, I have lipsticks that lasts longer, but I definitely have lipsticks that does not. When I wear these it tends to rub a bit off on the inner parts of my lips when I eat, so I am left with a weird outline of my lips- this is the only issue I have with this lipstick.

How is the pigment?
Incredible. Honestly, for such a smooth formula, you would not think it would be so pigmented, but you only need one swipe of this and your lipsticks looks amazing.

How does it apply?
One of my favourite things about these lipsticks, is how beautifully they apply. They are so smooth and creamy, it does not feel like a matte lipstick at all! Probably my favourite matte lipstick formula to apply on the lips, they just glide on! The applicator is small and a bit different compared to other lipsticks, but I really, really like it.

Would I recommend this product?
Yes, yes, yes. I love the formular and pigmentation so much. I need to get my hands on more shades – maybe I should be brave and buy the dark blue one, it looks so cool! It is not the cheapest lipstick, but it is so worth it, compared to what you get for the money. The packaging looks absolutely beautiful as well. As I said, the only tiny issue I have with this, is that it rubs off after a while, but just be sure that you have it in your bag and you will be fine :)) Let me know what you think of these if you have tried them, or if you have not, which shades would you like to try?

Thank you for reading – enjoy the nice weather (or however the weather is where you live aha)!
Lots of love,
Anne x

makeup collection

Makeup collection – eye shadow palettes

Heyyy,

I am starting a series, where I am showing my makeup products and doing a mini review of them. Let me know what you want to see next. Enjoy x

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill

At first I was not too keen on this product. I just could not get any pigment out of it, but as I forced myself to use it more, the pigment began to show (in some of the shades). Now, it is one of my all time favorite palettes because you get a lot of beautiful shades in here, both for everyday use and crazy colored looks.

Urban Decay palettes – naked 1, naked heat and Gwen Stefani

Urban Decay does beautiful palettes, but with this brand I tend to stick to one shade/look only. In the naked palette I always go for the shade “sidecar” which is one of my favourite eyeshadows of all time. I like the shimmers over the mattes in the palettes, they are just insane, especially the color “pop” from the Gwen Stefani palette (that you sadly cannot get anymore). The naked heat palette is a well loved eyeshadow palette online, in fact everywhere. I have not found it as well as everyone else, but the pigment is insane, both mattes (!!!) and shimmers. I just do not reach for this palette as much as I would like, but it is great after all.

Too Faced sweet peach palette

Halleluja, this palette is one of my allllll time faves. It is just so beautiful and great. My favorite shade is “luscious”, a beautiful champagne shade. You can make tons of looks with this palette. It blends beautifully, it does have a bit of fallout though but nothing too crazy. I really need to do more looks with this.

Violet Voss holy grail palette

There is a reason this palette is called holy grail, because I certainly could not live without it! I use this palette almost everyday. It is a perfect warm toned eyeshadow palette with the most blendable and pigmented shades. If you had to buy one of all of these palettes, it had to be this one. I have used all the shades and I do different looks with it. I just love all the eyeshadows. they. are. insane.

Tanya Burr palettes

I kinda have a hate love relationsship with these palettes. Some I love, some I do not. They are very good for traveling but if you have a lot of makeup, you are not in need of these. I  am a very big fan and very supportive of Tanya, and these palettes are great for beginners, and people who does not want to splurge on makeup products. They are very affordable. My favorite palette is “birthday suit”, but I really like the “enchanted dream” one as well. The galaxy palette is a palette that is a bit different to the others, and I quite like that it has some special colors in it.

Maybeline the nudes and blushed nudes

I always take the nudes palette with me for traveling, because I would not get sad if it broke but I still can get quite a few looks out of it. It was actually the first ever eyeshadow palette I bought, great for beginners! The blushed nudes I am not impressed with at all, there’s one matte shade and tbh I have not reached for this palette in quite some years.

MAC self-made palette

I will do a separate blogpost on this + my z-palette :))

Other palettes I do not use but still have (would you like a declutter video?)

Thanks for reading,
Anne x
– Sorry for the changing light in the pics, my camera did not want to work with me, promise I will fix it till next time.

Beautybay haul

Heyy,

I recently bought a few things from beautybay and I thought I would share them with you;) Tell me if you’d like a review of any of the products!

milani baked bronzer in solei

I really needed a new bronzer, and I thought this looked beautiful and it wasn’t expensive at all so I thought I would give it a try. It is very pigmented and quite shimmery, but none of the less, I can’t wait to try it!

The ordinary serum foundation in 1.1N

This foundation have been really hyped lately, and soooo inexpensive. It says it is lightweight which I love in a foundation, and is basically the only foundations I wear. I really, really hope this matches me.

And lastly, probably the most exciting thing, the Jaclyl Hill x Morphe palette, which I have been dying to try!

It has so many gorgeous colours, that I just cannot wait to use!

Thanks for reading!

Review – Becca Après Ski Glow Face Palette

Hey everybody,

long time no see, but new year new me ;))
eyyy that rimed, I should be writing poems or something like that lol… I don’t want to be talking further about why I haven’t blogged, but all I can say is that I’ve missed it lots, so here I am again..

I am going to be reviewing a beaaaaaautiful facepalette from becca. It is from their holiday collection, but I bought it yesterday on 70% sale, such a bargain! It cost me 133DKK and was reduced from 445 DKK!

Firstly I want to talk about the beautiful, icey, metallic packaging.

This is the most gorgeous palettes I have ever seen, the packaging is silver and it is almost like a mirror. It has Becca written in the center with an ice-blue colour as well as some drawings around it. One word; STUN-NING!

IMG_4645

Inside it, it has a huge mirror which is always great to have in a palette, and of course the most exciting part, the actual product. This becca palette contains 6 products, both limited edition and some of becca’s best-selling products. It has 3 highlighters, 2 blushes and one bronzer. The consistency is very soft and the formular is great and buildable. I am really surprised with this palette, of how pigmented and easy to blend the powders are, but also how freaking blinding the highlighters are – I loooove a good blinding highlighter!!

IMG_4651.JPG

From left to right: bronzed bondi (bronzer), winter berry (blush), opal (highlighter), icicle (highlighter), blushed copper (blush), rose quartz (highlighter)

It’s not very often I find a palette (especially a face palette) where I would want to use every colour, but this is almost it. Let’s start with the bronzer. I was a bit skeptical about it at first, cause it has shimmer in it and it is a bit dark for my skin type, but I am pleasantly surprised. I wore it today (photo further down) and I really liked it, be careful because it is VERY pigmented, but if you apply it with a light hand, it looks nice + you can’t see the shimmer in it, which is a plus for me.

The highlighters are super beautiful and buildable. Opal is a golden colour, which is great for a lot of skintones (my friend with a little darker skin than me used it, and I swear it looked bomb!). The colour icicle is great if you love being a bit extra (who doesn’t haaa) and is a more white highlighter. Lastly, rose quartz, which has a pinky undertone and is really wearable.

I am not the biggest blush fan and I like my blushes to almost not be seen and should only add a tiny bit of healthy look to your face. These blushes are a little too pigmented for my taste, but I can make them work. Else, I think blushed copper would be the perfect coppery eyeshadow and/or great for people with darker skintone.

Wearing opal, bronzed bondi and winter berry.

This palette is a great buy and I would so recommend it for anyone who a) love makeup or b) who is new to makeup and wants a palette where you get everthing you need for blush, bronzer and especially highlighter.

Thank you for reading, I hope you all have had an amazing start on 2018 so far.

Hugs,

Anne x

Traveling

My trip to Sardinia

Hello and welcome back – both to me and to you,

It’s been so long since I’ve written a blogpost, way too long. I’ve been to Sardinia, and after a lovely holiday, I can safely say I’m glad to be home (even though it’s raining like crazy and it’s 14 degrees outside). I came home this morning at 4 so I’ve been half asleep all day, but it’s been too long, I couldn’t wait to write a blogpost again.

This blogpost is a bit different than normal, because this is about my trip to Sardinia. I went to Alghero with my mum and dad for a week. It was so hot, almost 40 degrees every day ahh.. We went to loads of beaches, went to see some beautiful old towns and ate some great Italian food. Here are some pictures from this beautiful island.

Collective makeup and skincare haul

I’ve bought a lot recently, oops, so I thought I would show you. I’ve bought some stuff here in Denmark, on feelunique but also in a HUUUGE supermarked called Gekås in Sweden. I can’t even tell you how big it was, people flew to it and went camping there wth. I was in Sweden last week with my best friend, we had the best time ever!

Feelunique had a big sale so I bought some stuff from rimmel. (blush – 20 pink rose, soft kohl eyeliner – white, good to glow liquid highlighter – 001 notting hill glow)

Maybeline – dr rescue lipbalm in too cool. I needed a new lipbalm so i picked this up, I have tried it before a long time ago and I really liked it.

This is very random, but I bought some Burt’s bees cuticle oil. My cuticles are so gross so I thought this might help.

I also bought some lashes. I’ve never tried lashes before, so I bought these natural and cheap ones from kiss.

I needed a few skincare bits as well. I picked up the garnier micellar cleansing gel wash, a deodorant from palmolive (smells amazing!) and a moisuriser and a facial wash from neutrogina.

I love Tanya Burr’s products, so I treated myself to some. I bought 2 eyeshadow palettes (my paradise and my escape) and 2 lipsticks (pink cocoa and sunday walk). I haven’t tried the palettes yet, but I have tried the lipsticks – they’re so creamy and beautiful!!

Let me know if you’d like to see a blogpost on any of these products!

Love,

Anne xx
